YAD September Impact: White Theatre
Join Jewish Federation's Young Adults Division (YAD) for our September Impact event at the White Theatre for a performance of the new play, "Tree of Life."
Sunday, September 22nd12:30 pm | lunch & discussion2 pm | show starts
Inspired by real events, "Tree of Life" asks us to examine the foundations of our own identities. How do we define who we are? Do we belong to our past, or does it belong to us? What do we hold onto, and when should we let go?
Before the show, we'll have lunch and a discussion with Victor Wishna, a Jewish community member, playwright and “Tree of Life," creator; Jonah Greene, a YAD member, PhD student in theater at KU and co-producer of the show; and Keith Wiedenkeller, Director of Arts and Culture at the White Theatre.
If you are attending the play, you must register and purchase tickets by Wednesday, September 18. (If you don't want to attend the performance, there is a lunch-only registration option.) If you have any questions, please reach out to Becca Levine at [email protected].
